Mission: The LCOB Children's Ministry exists to DEVELOP spiritual growth and meaningful relationships, to ENERGIZE each child's mind, body and soul to a Christ-like life by ASSISTING, NURTURING and PREPARING each child and family. Core Values:
Vision: The Directors of Children's Ministry exists to lead children toward lives filled with the love of Christ. We want to develop meaningful ministries that teach and inspire the children, always mindful of their physical and emotional needs to experience high-energy activities, unconditional love from others and spiritual truths in the teachings. Our ministry will encourage healthy relationships and spiritual bonds between children, families, church friends and the community through formal and informal programs. In addition to nurturing children and families, our ministry will provide constant support to caretakers and teachers in the church. These persons will serve as positive role models for the children and their families. The Directors of Children's Ministry is dedicated to keeping Christ's love as the focal point in all of our plans and actions.
Lancaster Brethren Pre-School - Lancaster Brethren Preschool uses the Lancaster Church of the Brethren Facilities, but is independent of church operations. It serves ages 2-4 with a dedicated staff. For more information regarding LBP, please contact Director Jessica Steinman at 397-4751 ext. 28. Guided Child Care - During Sunday morning worship and WNL, we provide trained child care for ages birth-3. We offer both a crib and toddler nursery on Sunday mornings.
