Praise Kidz

A new, enhanced Jr. Church program!

Every Sunday morning children, ages 4–4th grade, will be dismissed
at 10:30 a.m. from both Morning Psalm and Sanctuary worship services.
They’ll gather together in the Praise Kidz Zone (rooms 162-163) for a time
of worship and teaching. Our mission is to form an overwhelming excitement
within the children of L.C.O.B. We want to excite them about the meaning
of worshiping God and what He can do within our lives.

Worship Time: 25 mins.

Music
We’re using children versions of familiar worship music & hymns.

Offering
The children will collect an offering and learn the importance of tithing.

Lesson
Lessons will be expressed in many creative ways. Examples are:
Dramatic Story Telling • Praise Palz (our puppet ministry)
Drama (performed by adults and/or kids) • Engaging Activities

Prayer Time
The children will have a time of prayer where they
can express their joys and concerns.

Craft and/or Game: 20 mins.
Crafts or Games will recap the lesson or theme of the day.

Current Core Areas

COB Kids ~ During Wednesday Night Live, we offer an hour of crafts, education, games, and interaction for ages 4-11.

Guided Child Care ~ During Sunday morning worship and WNL, we provide trained child care for ages birth-3. We offer both a crib and toddler nursery on Sunday mornings.

Junior Church ~ Sunday mornings during the main worship hour, we provide a dynamic worship service tailored to the needs of ages 4-11. Students participate actively in scripture reading, prayer, offering, music, and crafts.

Sunday School ~ Using the Keystone curriculum for most classes, we offer graded education for ages 2-11. Classes being promptly at nine on Sunday mornings. (Note: visit the Youth page for information on ages 12-18 education)

The Lancaster Brethren Pre-school also uses our facilities. This pre-school is independent of church operations. It serves ages 2-4 with a dedicated staff. For more information regarding LBP, please contact Director Michelle Fuhrman at 397-4751 ext. 28.
